Working on Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood has been an exceptional experience for us, thanks to its widespread recognition and its continuation of the positive influence initiated by Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. Over the years, we have developed various games, an app, and made updates to the Daniel Tiger website.
The Daniel Tiger's Neighbor app is a captivating digital dollhouse-style game that immerses children in the world of Daniel Tiger and his friends. This interactive experience features seven distinct locations where children can explore with favorite characters, creatively arranging scenes and interacting with various objects. This setup not only entertains but also fosters creativity and imagination, offering a delightful and educational experience for young users.
Build a Boat is an innovative game that lets players use everyday household items to construct their own boats. One of the aspects we love most about this game is that it demonstrates to children a fun, creative activity they can easily replicate at home. This aspect not only engages children but also encourages them to think inventively and apply similar concepts in their own projects.
Visiting the dentist can be intimidating for young children, but Daniel Tiger makes the experience more approachable by guiding them through the various aspects of a dental visit. With this familiar character by their side, children can explore and interact with the typical procedures of a teeth cleaning in a playful environment. This not only helps set their minds at ease for future dental visits but also familiarizes them with the routine aspects of dental care in a comforting and engaging way.
Daniel Tiger My Bedtime allows children to engage with various bedtime routines alongside their favorite characters from Daniel Tiger. In this project, we were tasked with enhancing the existing game by adding additional characters. This expansion not only enriched the gameplay but also offered kids more diversity in their bedtime routine simulations, making the experience more enjoyable and relatable.
The Daniel Tiger storybooks experience was developed both as an HTML5 web experience and as a downloadable app. Within the app, children can read along, interact with animations by tapping them, and replay audio to listen to the narration again. Additionally, the storybooks include Spanish language support, making them accessible to a broader audience. This dual-platform approach ensures that children can enjoy the rich, interactive storytelling experience in multiple formats and languages.
Kids can read stories with Daniel ranging from going to the doctor, to what it means to be a big brother and welcome a new sibling into the world!
